The $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Model Y and the $Ford Motor (F.US)$ Mustang Mach-E are two electric SUVs that will be competing in the midsize SUV market. In comparison, the Model Y has a range of up to 330 miles, while the Mustang Mach-E's range will vary from 224 and 312 miles depending on the selected trim. Tesla boasts quick acceleration and autopilot capabilities, while the Mustang Mach-E offers a sportier driving experience with its GT model. Both vehicles come with advanced features such as touchscreen infotainment systems, advanced safety features, and incredible comfort and control.
Tesla continues to reduce prices for its electric vehicles in the United States amounting to a total of five-times since the start of the 2023 Year. There is no official statement and it is not clear if these reductions are part of a corporate mission, sales push or reflect a decrease in supplier expenses. Despite making electric vehicles more affordable, Tesla will certainly not compromise the overall integrity, customer satisfaction or the company's financial stability delivering 422,000 of 440,000 vehicles manufactured this (Q2) 2023.
