😂Tesla’s “price war” pushes Xpeng to focus on cheaper manufacturing 😂
$Tesla(TSLA.US$ These “journalists” keep not understanding that Tesla doesn’t give a FKK about the so-called competition and that the discounts are not a “price war”.
The goal is to produce as many cars as possible taking market shares from combustion engine cars (including hybrids), not from EV makers.
XPeng particularly is no competition for Tesla as it sells a tiny fraction of what Tesla does and loses a huge amount of money on each EV they build. They have no efficient factories and they are years behind Tesla’s optimisation and technology.
