new "detailed quotes" page (beta)
recently, I was invited to join beta testing for the moomoo app (new "detailed quotes" page), so i take this opportunity to highlight 3 changes that affected me:
at the onset, i noticed that the (1) tabs (shortcuts) navigation (previously at the top) has moved to the bottom of the expanded details and it actually took me a while to find the (2) expand/collapse arrows to reduce the details to make the page more readable for me..
when i got down to the charts though, i find that the (3) charting options have also changed and the indicators shortcuts (previously below the charts) are no longer there so it seems you have to add/remove the indicator using the indicator-odometer (in yellow) and the ability to easily turn on/off a particular indicator is now no longer available.
overall, i find the new "detailed quotes" page somewhat "cleaner" (as some items gets grouped together) but as with each change, i think it will take me some getting used to, so i hope this post can help you to find your way around when your moomoo app gets updated in due time..
have a great trading day and long weekend ahead..

FirstStrike Veteran : I noticed the odometer change as well and I found it rather quickly and I enjoy having it the new way. Personally I found it very often I would hit and indicator when I didn't want to with the old version. Now, with the new version I know that will not happen.
thank you for writing up a quick write up on this.
snoopy123 OP FirstStrike Veteran : thanks for your comment. i guess this boils down to a matter of personal preference, coz I may like it one way (quick shortcuts) and you may prefer another = more controlled way of turning on/off the indicators that you use.. (think: runny eggs vs hard-boiled eggs) i guess moomoo will be able to monitor the app usage of the collective user community (macro view) and tweak those commonly used features/shortcuts (navigation) as needed as they roll out new updates for better user experience (UI/UX).. at the end of the day, I think it will be great if moomoo can allow for more user customization where one can turn on/off a feature, or add/remove shortcuts as desired since apps programming are much more "modular" these days and each "page" or "view" is but a separate request to their server, which i supposed is how they can roll out new versions without affecting existing users... so you and i can both have our eggs the way we want them...
