PCE data
PCE is a preferred guage for Fed to assess inflation. Here are thr numbers:
- Mar PCE Price Index YOY: 4.2% vs 4.1% eatimate.
- Mar Core PCE Price Index YOY: 4.6% vs 4.5% estimate
As shared previously, inflation remains sticky. At this point, it is almost unarguable that Fed will raise 25 basis points when they meet next week. Key question is, will we get another raise in Jun? Many are expecting Fed to pause their rate hike in May.

Revelation 6 : I think the best thing the Fed could do is to continue with the rate hikes at .25 for the next two hikes and see how the economy reacts to them and more importantly, how the U.S. Banking system deals with them and the stress of it.
