$First Republic Bank(FRC.US$ Just curious if trading is halted, how do we sell the options that is in profit, I am not holding any, just wanted to learn, what if this counter is halted for the day and the option expired today ?

Dramericanjesus : Depends on the duration. stock has to trade in order for the options to be sold. if you have a long duration and the halt is resolved while you hold the option, you are ok and can sell. if the halt resolves after your contract date, you lose the chance to exercise or sell.
