Going to be a huge reversal
$First Republic Bank(FRC.US$ The stock is falling because there are now over 100 million shares that have been loaned out. When they are forced to cover this will run to an offensive amount. Too many piling on it is never a good thing, only builds up its explosiveness. Ill start collecting 1000-5000 shares anytime it falls below 2.25. All it takes is one piece of good news to be released. And they dont need to do offerings like other stocks.

Mcsnacks H Tupack OP Sor Shi Dll : The stock has always had a short interest rate of .3% until last month. Now it's 214% with 45,000 shares being all that is left. Shorts rely on companies being hard up for money so they can get shares from offerings and cover and make a lot of money. They have screwed themselves and whoever loaned out the shares.
Mcsnacks H Tupack OP : And you better believe the bank is going to be rescued with good news over the weekend. Institutional investors are going to have super cheap shares after this which is probably the main reason behind the drop.
