JanetS : Cool, I like the analysis functions for options because it does great help for me to invest in decisions. Such as option calculators, the underlying by volume, the block trade. These are what I view frequently in the moo app. For some advice, I would like to see more courses about option strategies, like long strangle or condor. That may be more helpful to us. BTW, I like to trade in moo rather than on other platforms, for its powerful analysis features!!!
Go Figure : I think moo moo has an abundance of information posted which I really appreciate. analysis and financial tabs are great. I like that moomoo post current support and resistance. the chart by the tick is nice. exploration tab with calander and heat maps pretty awesome. news sections makes it easy to keep track of current events. overall so far I had aweosme experience. except for one thing. I tried to write about it to online inquiry. the IV sub indicator doesn't appear as a separate chart. I got historical volat chart on. but for some reason after I mark IV sub in the indicator menu. the tab next to the main chart doesn't have IV to toggle the sub chart on and off and it just won't appear other than that everything is awesome so far very happy to be a Mooer. alsmot doubled my capital in three trades this week. made 80%. Let's go mooers grow and trade like a pro moomoo has everytool
not gonna lie .65cent per contract is kinda ehhhh i wish it was at least. 35 but nevertheless
thanks a lot to moomoo for offering this awesome platform and all the services and info provided.
harderlifeTM : also
71267023 : would love to try
Themadmancox : I want to marry moo moo I am proposing to move will you marry me
NewtonOj : I like options on moomoo a lot of other trade platforms don’t explain anything but moomoo does by far…
seedthesky : where are we supposed to post our opinions? Here in this thread?
seedthesky : my comment is too long so ive had to split it up.
--Easy access to reminders right from the options pages for those of us who are still learning. The training and educational content is over abundant, but not long and drawn out. Everything is short and to the point, still having all pertinent information.
--Chart drawing tools help you to customize a map where we can see correlation between fundamentals, mechanicals, sentiment, and technicals. You can truly tailor the charting to your needs.
--The free trials for market data are a real treat. I didn't know what I was missing out on. Now I'm a subscriber to four of the data options. OPRA level 2 options data is a must. I cannot go back to before where I didn't have it. I would like to see free trials of the two more expensive market data subscriptions.
seedthesky : --Financial analysis data is excellent. I trade on multiple platforms, and only on higher end brokerages do you find these kind of tools. This is a huge winning move for Moomoo to provide this.
--"When you research what options contract to trade, do you like to view both the stock and option quotes simultaneously? If yes, why? How would you like them to be displayed?"
--Unusual options activity is a must have for beginners and experts. It may be tricky sometimes to figure out whether someone is hedging or making a play, but the more information at our fingertips, the better we may succeed.
--"Would you detect block buys and block sales for specific options contracts before investing options? Does this detection help you with investment decision making?"
--Of course! Correlation can be found between block orders and hedging by well maintained etfs.
--"What types of options strategies do you generally use the most? Does the investing app you use offer these strategies? What strategies would you like to see if not?"
--Collars, strangles, and straddles are my most common strategies. less common is the butterfly. I haven't used in depth strategies on Moomoo yet, I'm still growing my "play money" account here.
--I've been trading single option strategies mostly on moomoo, but with recession and possible crash in the near future, I will use more complex strategies as I shift to buy recessionary investments.
--Moomoo has been an absolute pleasure to explore. They've set the standard high, and competing platforms seem to be lagging behind.
727727727 : naked options are too risky for me - I sell covered calls only, but I like seeing information about atypical trades, open contacts numbers and insider buys/sells
