Elon Musk uses computation to disrupt the automotive industry.

$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Elon Musk: FSD Beta v11.4 is very good. I drove randomly in Austin for a few days and had zero interventions for safety. https://laohu8.com/S/TSLA$Tesla (TSLA)$ To be honest, I am completely indifferent to this type of pure 2C PR, I want to see the latest engineering practices of FSD in some cutting-edge algorithms. Firstly, in 22 or even the second half of 21, Tesla has achieved similar experiences in some areas of the Bay Area; secondly, besides the Bay Area and Austin, is the FSD Beta experience consistent across the United States? The answer is actually very very inconsistent. Looking back, FSD can be said to be Tesla's longest technical project cycle, from a hundred meters to a marathon. Considering the current status of FSD Beta, what insights can it provide to Chinese companies? - Urban assisted driving PR should be toned down unless you are confident that you can do better than Tesla in the same time frame, and much better. Otherwise, Tesla's dilemma of Over-Promise & Under-Deliver with FSD today will be repeated on a large scale in China in the next 3 years. - Redefine goals, redeploy resources. It's simple, no one runs a hundred meters and a marathon in the same way. Transition from high-intensity arms race to ultra-long-term trench warfare. Talent, organization, resources need to be set for a longer and more sustainable period. Tesla has been doing this for 8 years, but how many years does it take to develop a generation of vehicles? In a marathon, there are many starters and many dropouts along the way. From a personal perspective, seeing how difficult fully autonomous driving is, I feel subtly excited, this field is truly fascinating. The high threshold far exceeds the expectations of everyone when the first wave of bursting bubbles in 2016. Using computation to disrupt the automotive industry, the harder it gets, the more disruptive it becomes.
