Out of FUTU after 3 years
$Futu Holdings Ltd(FUTU.US$ so many ups and downs. This stock took me for a ride. Entered at 27 back in Aug/Sep 2020, rode it to 200+, sold half at ~160, rode the other half all the way down to the 20s last year and out of it all today at 41.23. Very good company but Chinese stocks are made for trading, not investing. Sucks because I really believe in them but the volatility is too much and fundamentals are not relevant. Maybe at again at some point in the future but probably not.

娜娜的粉丝 : Actually, it's not just Futu. I think all Chinese companies are no longer suitable for long-term investment starting in 2021. Seeing that a year and a half ago, Alibaba donated 50 billion dollars and Tencent donated 100 billion dollars to support Xi Jinping's common prosperity. The whole process was completely approved by shareholders. The whole process was completely unapproved by shareholders; in fact, donations in the name of beauty were blackmailed. As long as Xi Jinping is still in office, it is natural for something like this to happen again in the future

Chase21 OP Poop Turtle : The issue is that hoping someone retires is not an investment strategy. China has some really good companies at bottom level valuations but there’s a real reason for it. If you can accept the risks, the rewards can be great.
