Hopefully they don’t do the Shopee way which is non sustainable.
Shopee firstly slashed their headcount substantially then they increased cost on shopee sellers but a lot (Increase of commission more than double, increase marketing fees of sellers auto bidding price per keyword from $0.05-$15, force sellers to be on cash back program and take more than 10% off each item sold, increase logistics fees on sellers the $1.50 is increased to $1.75 from consumers and they take a further $1.50++ from sellers)
Now you know why Shopee products are no longer cheap. Sellers have to pass the cost to Consumers.
If Grab does the same, both driver partner and consumers will suffer.
They call this inflation.
And our government happily add in their gst to make things worse.
Consumers are at the losing end!
