Has anyone shorted the market in the last 1 month?
Market likes to do the opposite what the majority thinks.

dwarrior : Me. Lol
Cow Moo-ney OP dwarrior :
志行千里hug : I usually go long in the short term. The risk of shorting is greater than going long. The current market has changed too much, and going long is often stable
Cow Moo-ney OP 志行千里hug : The risk of shorting is really quite high
志行千里hug Cow Moo-ney OP : Shorting the index is fine. If it's an individual stock, the short position must not be too big. There is no lower limit for shorting, and the risk of shorting is higher than going long
一起变优秀 dwarrior : I've always thought that those who dare to take advantage of big technology are the best of people, hahaha
Roll2me : I did short $Apple (AAPL.US)$ and $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ and sell stock covered $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$. All are good companies but the valuation is too high. But well, market are irrational. I love $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ just that it fly too high too fast. Expecting some pullback next week and pocketing my premium at 125 strike price next week. Did you lose your $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ at 110 @Cow Moo-ney?
Seraphicall : You lols it for me. 🥹
Cow Moo-ney OP Roll2me : Yup agree market is irrational. I didn’t lose money per se as I rolled the option with a credit - increased the strike price and extended the timeline Am also expecting some pullback after this massive run by GOOGL. Just don’t know when haha
