Japanese megabank stocks

I have a question. I'd love to hear your opinions. Do you think there are any advantages to investing in Japanese megabank stocks? Profits have been earned from overseas even under conditions where interest rates in Japan have continued to be low for many years, and considering that there is a possibility that the Bank of Japan will review its policies in the future, dividend yields are also high and stable, and there is probably a sense of investment over a long period of time.

  • バフェット太郎 : I think Japanese megabanks have a unique sense of investment.

If you explain the bank's business model roughly, banks earn 2 percentage points worth of interest by lending money deposited from depositors with interest of 1% to individuals and companies at 3% interest.

If the Bank of Japan reviews its monetary policy and raises the upper limit of long-term interest rates from the current 0.50%, it is expected that business performance will improve as interest rates expand. I don't know when the monetary policy review will take place, but considering that high dividends can be expected, the strategy of patiently waiting until the policy review may not be that difficult.
