Japanese megabank stocks

I have a question. I'd love to hear your opinions. Do you think there are any advantages to investing in Japanese megabank stocks? Profits have been earned from overseas even under conditions where interest rates in Japan have continued to be low for many years, and considering that there is a possibility that the Bank of Japan will review its policies in the future, dividend yields are also high and stable, and there is probably a sense of investment over a long period of time.

  • バフェット太郎 : I think Japan's megabanks have an investment appeal.

If I were to explain the business model of banks in a rough way, banks earn interest worth 2 percentage points by lending money deposited with 1% interest from depositors to individuals and companies at 3% interest.

If the Bank of Japan reviews its monetary policy and raises the upper limit of long-term interest rates from the current 0.50%, it is expected that business performance will improve in line with the expansion of interest rates. I don't know when monetary policy will be reviewed, but considering that high dividends can be expected, the strategy of patiently waiting until policy reviews may not be that difficult.
