- The House Rules Committee advanced the bill to the floor last night by a narrow 7 to 6 vote
-Over 30 Republicans have publicly opposed the deal because it does nothing to curb the out of control national debt
-Some Democrats are expected to vote 'no' as well
-Leaders in Congress believe the deal will have enough votes to pass, but it will be close
-The deal will suspend the debt ceiling for 2+ years with spending caps $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$
