HSBC Repurchases Over 4.51M Shrs Ytd for HK$267M

$HSBC HOLDINGS(00005.HK)$ announced that it bought back more than 4.5194 million shares in UK and HK markets yesterday (6 June), involving a total of approximately HK$267 million.

Of these, 2.4154 million shares were purchased in the UK market at prices ranging from GBP6.019 to GBP6.11 per share, with a weighted average price of GBP6.0656 per share, involving approximately GBP14.6506 million (approximately HK$143 million).

Another 2.104 million shares were purchased on the HKEX at prices ranging from HK$58.75 to HK$59.2 per share, with a weighted average price of approximately HK$58.9942 per share, involving a capital of approximately HK$124 million.
