Apple WWDC23 - Apple as an AI company?

2023's will be one that could change the course of Apple in the coming years.

Here are 2 major shifts that could see Apple becoming an AI company.

The thunder of the show is none other than Vision Pro - Apple's new VR glasses (goggles?).

Termed spatial computing, Vision Pro allows users to bring their digital content to the real world using augmented reality (AR).

With eye movements and finger movements, users can control this supercomputer to work, connect and enjoy entertainment.

Truly one of the potential technological edges for the next coming years.

The magic behind Vision Pro is due to the M2 chip, that has been powering the current generation of MacBooks, and also the newly teased R1 chip.

Not much is known about the R1 chip, but it is a new chip designed specifically for mixed reality headsets such as the new Vision Pro. 

The R1 chip allows the capturing of surrounding and processing it so that whatever you see via Vision Pro, happens in real life.

We could see the R1 chip potentially introduced to current products in future models.
