AU Evening Wrap: ASX Snaps Seven-Day Winning Streak, Miners Retreat

The $S&P/ASX 200(.XJO.AU)$ lost 0.6 per cent on Wednesday for its first decline in seven days as the energy sector lost 1.3 per cent and the materials sector retreated 1 per cent.
$TPG Telecom Ltd(TPG.AU)$ shares dropped 5.4 per cent after its proposed regional infrastructure merger with $Telstra Group Ltd(TLS.AU)$ got knocked back by a competition tribunal.
$Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd(FLT.AU)$ lost 6.9 per cent on an investor update, and retailer Premier Investments was down 4.9 per cent.
Biotech $Telix Pharmaceuticals Ltd(TLX.AU)$ soared 5.8 per cent to $12.28.
