Tencent, NetEase & Others Announce Restrictions on Minor Gaming for Coming Summer Holiday

Will the shortening of online game duration affect revenue?

Technology firms including TENCENT, $NTES-S (09999.HK)$ and miHoYo announced a notice specifying the restrictions on underage users' gaming hours during the 2023 summer holiday.

According to the notice, underage users will be allowed to log onto their gaming accounts between 8 pm and 9 pm from Friday to Sunday each week in July-August. Gaming activities outside of the designated period will be forbidden.
