Fed Minutes Reveal Divisions Over Decision to Pause in June
Federal Reserve officials were less united at their June meeting than their unanimous decision suggested, as some favored interest-rate increases but went along with the move to leave policy unchanged. 
“Almost all participants judged it appropriate or acceptable to maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 5% to 5.25%,” minutes from the June 13-14 meeting said. “Some participants indicated that they favored raising the target range for the federal funds rate 25 basis points at this meeting or that they could have supported such a proposal.”
July Fourth Weekend Breaks Travel Records Across the U.S.
The Fourth of July holiday period broke records for travel, despite flight delays and cancelations.
Close to 10.7 million people passed through U.S. airport checkpoints Thursday through Sunday, according to the Transportation Security Administration, which said travel records were broken at airports across the country. A further 2.3 million passengers were screened Monday and just more than 2 million Tuesday.

$Moderna(MRNA.US)$ stock was rising Wednesday after the drugmaker reached an agreement to produce mRNA vaccines in China.
Chinese media company Yicai reported on Tuesday that Moderna will invest as much as $1 billion in China. Moderna declined to comment on the size of the investment to Barron’s, but the company confirmed it had reached a memorandum of understanding to research, develop, and manufacture mRNA medicines in China.
