From my POV, and I'm biased, Tesla is the only EV company with a high chance of succeeding and dominating the EV industry. Why?1.Supercharging network in North America that will be the #1 EV charging provider by far.
.Highly profitabe EV margins. "But it's declining and they are dropping prices." Yes, but the reality is when Ford is reporting significant negative EV gross margins and Tesla is reporting positive EV margins, that's the gap you have to compare it to. ICE vehicle production will continue to plummet while EV's will increase every year.
.Most innovative company in this industry and others. They are constantly pushing new updates and features.
.The only EV company right now that will be able to sell $25k EV's at a profit. Anyone selling $25k EV's in the near future outside of Tesla will be doing so at significant losses. GM already came out and said they won't see profitable EV's in the $30-40k range until at least the end of the decade or longer.
.The infrastructure is in place to attack several markets. Shanghai will handle China. Berlin will handle Europe. Fremont and Austin will handle USA. Mexico will handle North/South and Central America. No auto company can reach as many markets as Tesla can on a wide scale. And they're ramping up GF's very quickly.
.Software advantages is something most automakers have no clue how to develop. Ford's CEO explains this pretty well in just how most automakers outsource this technology and thus, have very little control on how their vehicles actually operate
