NASDAQ special rebalancing; no addition or removal from index just weightage change
If the media didn't report, you'll not notice any change at all - normal re-balancing happens quarterly.

Normal rebalancing happens on a quarterly basis—at the end of March, June, September and December. ZnWC OP 102294285 : This article was posted yesterday. Some reported as if some big tech stocks are being removed from the index but in actual fact only weightage is changed. The weightage is adjusted quarterly and we usually didn't feel anything at all.
