According to people familiar to the sources, Huawei is coming back to target 5G smartphone market.
The research company pointed out that Huawei's 5G chip will adopt SMIC's N+1 process. Since the yield rate of the chip may be lower than 50% in the initial stage of production, it is estimated that Huawei's 5G new machine shipments may only be around 2 million to 4 million units.
It is also pointed out that Huawei will produce the 5G version of the flagship Huawei P60 series this year, which is expected to be available in early 2024.
