Moofest 2023 - My Takeaways

As compared to previous year (Moomoo Invest Fair 2022), Moofest  2023 was much bigger in term of speakers and activities. There was a total of 27 speakers from various investment institutions, 6 main stage panel sharing and 10 side stage presentation. Moomoo users were particularly excited because there were 17 lucky draws including 1 grand draw at the finale.

More engaged
Participants were more engaged because they can participate in Amazing Race and Crossword puzzle adventure. I'm more motivated to learn through such creative activities and win quite a number of gifts and rewards. The most generous was the $30 cash coupon and $30 stock coupon. I also managed to clinch $58 cash fund coupon by depositing fresh fund at the booth.
My Takeaways
The seminar catered to retail investors for different levels: beginner to advanced. I'm particularly interested in Main Stage panel discussion "Learning and Experience: Top 5 lessons from my investment experience in 2023 and beyond " and Side Stage sharing "Exploring Investment Strategies for 2H 2023" whom I interacted in person with speakers. This event was a good opportunity to learn new features about Moomoo apps with live demonstration (options trading strategies , analysis tools, charts etc) and to extend my network of investment information (Beansprout and SIAS). Personally I also have a chance to meet up with moomoo friends whom I interacted in Moomoo Chat Group.
