Weekly Stocks Watchlist For 17-21 July 23 - ATVI

As we have seen a stellar performance from the 3 U.S. indices last week until Thursday (13 Jul 23). Friday we saw NASDAQ and S&P 500 in the negative territory.

I will be sharing on the sentiment analysis and technical analysis done on them and my target price.

A federal appeals court denied the Federal Trade Commission’s request to temporarily stop Microsoft (MSFT) from closing its acquisition of video game maker Activision Blizzard (ATVI), removing one of the last hurdles to completing the $69 billion deal.

ATVI has risen more than 3% in after hours trading on last Friday (14 Jul 23).

Investors sentiment have been very positive and this can be further enhanced by investors increasing their holdings by 0.8% (last 7 days) and 4.5% (last 30 days).

I would think market sentiment would be high as the deal for Microsoft acquisition pf ATVI would go ahead.

ADX is between 20 and 40 and ATVI is beginning to cross 20, this would suggest to me a good time to look at this stock for entry.

The +DI is above -DI by a wide margin and this would suggest a Strong bullish upwards movement for a long time.

SAR does not show any potential reversal and it has a Strong bullish upwards movement, and my own strategy has suggest to take a LONG position for this stock.

I would be monitoring the price and volume movement closely for this stock as there might a huge gap Up due to the news on acquisition by Microsoft.

I would consider to enter ATVI at around $91.80 to $92 as I think there might be some Big Boys pulling the price back for a large entry. So it is important to monitor the price and volume movement.

If it goes below $90, then I would redo my plan for entry.

From the sentiment analysis from current investors in these stocks, there might be a chance that there is a strong interest in ATVI.

This might be the reason they could be some profit taking by some short term investors. So it is always prudent to monitor the price and volume movement closely so that we can see how the market is reacting to investors sentiment.
