HSBC Buys Back 4.71M Shrs for Almost $300M Ytd

$HSBC HOLDINGS(00005.HK)$ announced that it repurchased a total of 4.7101 million shares in the UK and Hong Kong markets yesterday (19th), involving a total of about HK$298 million.

Of these, 2.2101 million shares were purchased in the UK market at prices ranging from GBP6.247 to GBP6.319 per share, with a weighted average price of GBP6.2799 per share.

Another 2.5 million shares were purchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at a price per share ranging from HK$62.95 to HK$63.4, with a weighted average price of approximately HK$63.1036 per share.
