xlv has gone up, xlu has gone up, who is next?
A few days ago, I sorted out S&P's 11 major sector ETFs, and I'm optimistic about XLV. After that, xlv began a wave of gains, and now I have lost some of my profits. At the time, I was still puzzled as to why XLU was not rising. I only bought a few observation warehouses, and then suddenly it rose. Along with the fall of tech giants, these undervalued sectors are finally waiting to run out of money.
Currently, the breadth of the market has improved markedly. This is a good sign. The stock market has basically confirmed that it has returned to a bull market, so you can rest assured that high-quality companies have been underestimated. In addition to XLRE being crushed on the ground (because I don't know when interest rates will be cut, there is also TLT), and even the financial sector, which can thunder at any time, has risen. I have to mention $Goldman Sachs (GS.US)$ This dog was left over, and it fell after I bought it... Later, after Damo's earnings report, the sector rose because I was worried that Goldman Sachs's earnings would not be good, so I took the opportunity to sell it. As a result, the financial report was really bad, but the stock price continued to rise The previous judgment on the Dow's strength was generally correct, only because the timing of stock selection and entry was uncertain, and not much money was made. But it doesn't matter. If you keep reviewing and summarizing, you will always improve.
Although I have the image of a stock god, I'm not a big deal in the stock market, ha; I mainly invest in real estate. The stock market has been playing around recently. I bought a few rental units last year. Over the past year, in the face of such high interest rates, all of them actually appreciated sharply. The average was actually close to 20%. At first, I only bought it because I thought it was a good deal; I really never expected it. And that's not to mention that rent cash flow has always been positive. Part of the appreciation of the house has surpassed our total stock market position. However, this has also heightened my concerns about the real estate collapse, so let's learn how to trade stocks Hope to make progress together with my friends. It's still good to trade stocks. Getting a rental house is really tiring. I always have to fix it up. I'm almost a handyman. My wife said you don't need to worry about losing your job; just become a handyman; you can earn more than your current salary
My current feeling: While the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates high, problems with the US economy will probably occur between 2024-2025, and the Fed will have to bail out the market. The stock market took the lead in pulling back and is likely to enter a bear market again. Then real estate will drop drastically, and may even collapse. In the end, the Federal Reserve may have to release water again. The stock market and housing market will have to go through bottom consolidation before entering a real bull market in 2025-2026. Of course, this depends on the game between China and the US. If China collapses, US stocks will stabilize, but as a Chinese, I hope this will never happen.
This is an earlier post:
Finally, let's talk about positions.
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ If it falls to 250, I'll come back in. The lower it falls, the more I buy, but until it falls to 220, I won't reposition myself. The volatility is too high, and the risk is high.
$Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ I'm afraid to buy before the earnings report, but I'm optimistic about long-term development. Google will definitely be the leader in the AI field in the future, and it is very likely that it will surpass Microsoft once again.
$Unity Software (U.US)$ This stock has also made me quite a bit of money. Currently, I have basically cleared my position at profit. But it's probably going to rise again; I haven't sold all of them.
$Lockheed Martin (LMT.US)$ The higher 5% position was cut off, and the remaining 10% will not be cut again. Also, I bought the cut meat part $General Dynamics (GD.US)$ . I love peace and oppose war, but I am an idiot, and opposition is useless; I can only continue to be optimistic about the military industry.
$VanEck Agribusiness ETF (MOO.US)$ I've mentioned it a long time ago, and I've been watching. Currently, I think the opportunity has come; there is still room for a 20% increase until the high point. Tesla's 20% increase is a small increase, but for agriculture, this is a lot of room. Purchased before $Deere (DE.US)$ I have already made a profit and bought MOO in exchange.
$The Health Care Select Sector SPDR® Fund (XLV.US)$ Some of the profits went to the bag. If you step back, you can add it; you don't need to chase higher.
$Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLU.US)$ If you step back, you can add it; if you chase higher, don't do it. There is limited room for growth with this kind of thing.
$Real Estate Select Sector Spdr Fund (The) (XLRE.US)$ We may have to wait and see. I don't think it's better to buy HD.
$Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP.US)$ There may be an increase, but the growth potential in this area is limited, and it is mainly risk aversion. I don't really like to cast.
$Occidental Petroleum (OXY.US)$ As a fan of Stock God, I buy some as soon as Stock God buys it. If China's economy recovers, energy will definitely rise, and oil prices may reach 90-100, but in that case, it will be difficult for the Federal Reserve. I still have $Cheniere Energy (LNG.US)$ Natural gas has fallen to the point where it is difficult to keep falling.
$Zillow-C (Z.US)$ , and $Home Depot (HD.US)$ Since I invest in real estate, I am very concerned about this type of stock. Zillow was up 10% within a week after I bought it at the time. I bought about 8% of the position, and I posted when I bought it. Currently, half of the positions have been taken profit, and HD positions have been added.
$Target (TGT.US)$ I bought it back at 134, still using an options account, and immediately sold Call after buying it. The options account doesn't have much money. The main thing is to have fun and learn.

Ringo想买包 : Why did China break the stability of US stocks? I think it still points to China's recovery
高贵的阿德莱德 OP Ringo想买包 : 1. Once the capital flees China, a large part of it is bound to go into US stocks. 2. When China falls into deflation, it will reduce inflation around the world and help the US achieve a soft landing. Hopefully none of this will happen. It used to be an incremental game where China and the US prosper together. Currently, if the US wants to turn the incremental game into a zero-sum game, then this can only kill other players. We can only hope that the world will return to incremental gaming again.
71865070_ly Ringo想买包 : The system decides everything. It's rotten to the root; it's great that it doesn't collapse right away.
高贵的阿德莱德 OP 71865070_ly : There's no need to say hate speech; there's no point in blaming the system; even if you change to another system, it won't necessarily be good. Furthermore, from two bullets and one star to reform and opening up, China's achievements have attracted worldwide attention, and no one can deny it. However, now that we are in the transformation stage, we will inevitably encounter various problems
71865070_ly 高贵的阿德莱德 OP : That's funny about you. How do you know that others just hate the country (patriotism, but the Party can't love it)? Don't be in a hurry to question other people's patriotism, but please don't kidnap someone else's patriotism; you need to love this system. Don't use the achievements since the founding of the nation to explain the problems that have been covered up by the current incompetent government; furthermore, none of the meritorious and capable people of that time are in office now.
高贵的阿德莱德 OP 71865070_ly : It's just about investing, not politics. I don't want my painstakingly written posts to be harmonized. Moreover, I have already immigrated; I just want the motherland to continue to prosper
