Overall results have been good for Q2'23.

Sales are up 6.3% while EPS is up by 8.1%.

Most regions reported steady growth, just apart from Europe where sales shrunk a bit.

Kenvue holds the consumer health segment of J&J, and the rationale of the spin-off will be for J&J to focus on its pharmaceutical and medical device businesses, and to create a more focused and agile company.

There is ongoing scrutiny on how J&J is handling the talcum containing powder issue.

J&J created LTL Management to shield itself from talc litigation.

The game plan was to let the subsidiary file for bankruptcy, and pay USD 8.9 billion to resolve all claims.

So long as this issue remains unresolved, it might plague J&J for many more periods.
