I don't understand why a stock falls on positive results
I've been playing the stock market for a few years now and I've noticed that very often a stock will fall when quarterly reports seem positive.
Is it a case of people price in exceeding analysts expectations by more than reported? I don't understand.

heureuxL : If you noticed under company profile under shareholders, the institutional investors have started buying the stocks a month before the earnings report. When they sell ahead, it will have an impact on the stock prices.
