My 2023 Earnings and Rewards in using Moomoo Cash Plus Fund
1. How much have you earned on moomoo Cash Plus so far in 2023? How long did it take, and how much did you invest to achieve it?
My earnings for Moomoo cash plus is as follows:

The 7d average yield for the 2 funds are 3.85% and 5.23% respectively (not interest rate pa). The earnings were accumulated for about 2 years. It could be higher if I didn't redeem for cash to subscribe for another MMF, BNP Paribas USD Market Money Fund $BNP Paribas USD Money Market (LU0012186622.MF)$ to use my Fund Cash Coupon (FCC). The yield is not as high as Fixed Deposit and Treasury Bill but it has the liquidity to redeem immediately (T+0 day) for other investment like options trading. I use Moomoo platform to invest in cash plus for 2 reasons. First the fund provide the leverage and liquidity to trade options. Second Moomoo provides many promotions and activities to earn FCC. See screenshot. Based on estimation, the average amount of cash earned from FCC is no less than SGD 30 per month. There was a period where points earned can be exchanged for FCC.
Currently there's a promotion of 5.8% pa guarantee returns for 30 days for Moomoo cash plus investment (on top of the usual yield) if you perform certain task.
2. What are your plans for investing in Cash Plus next quarter, and why?
Although Fed rate hike may affect yield, this is not the main reason for investing in Moomoo cash plus fund. I'll definitely continue to invest more in Cash Plus next quarter for passive income. It is also part of my emergency fund to prepare for any stock market crash or recession. I can recommend more friends to join if Moomoo can bring back points exchange Fund Cash Coupon promotion.
