AU Evening Wrap: ASX Flat; Myer and Coronado Plunge

The $S&P/ASX 200 (.XJO.AU)$ fell flat, up just 1.9 points to 7311.1 at the closing bell, retreating from its earlier gains.

The healthcare sector was of the few sectors in the green, up 0.6 per cent. $CSL Ltd (CSL.AU)$ rallied 1 per cent and $Sonic Healthcare Ltd (SHL.AU)$ rose 0.6 per cent.

In company news, $Woodside Energy Group Ltd (WDS.AU)$ rose 0.6 per cent following an announcement that it was going to sell 10 per cent of its flagship gas project Scarborough for $US500 million ($763 million) to LNG Japan.

Building products group $James Hardie Industries PLC (JHX.AU)$ shares climbed 14.4 per cent after it lifted prices in Australasia in the June quarter, pushing profit margins in the region to an all-time high.

$Coronado Global Resources Inc (CRN.AU)$ tumbled 11.6 per cent after it reported a 24 per cent dip in revenue.

Department store chain $Myer Holdings Ltd (MYR.AU)$ sank 14.1 per cent even as it upgraded its profit expectations.
