It broke through, but there are flaws.
Today, Dragon and TSM both broke through important resistance levels. I was originally planning to increase my position, but before placing the order, I noticed a problem:
The volume is insufficient.
I hesitated for a moment and did not place the order.
If it had been a breakout with high volume, I would definitely have chased after it. However, for a breakout with low volume, I have some doubts.
As a precaution, I instead reduced my holdings of NVDA.
Let's see how PLTR's financial report turns out. Today's surge with high volume is unlikely to be caused by retail investors; it must be institutions aggressively buying, with retail investors at most following the trend. If there is a stock price plunge after-market due to the financial report, that would be a bit amusing. I'll consider whether to buy put options to protect my profits.
