set an alarm for premarket open. the most significant movement tends to happen around this time. many traders are done with their last transaction before 10 to 11am. if you're not making long term trades, look for what begins to move shortly after premarket begins at 4am. you will begin to notice that many tickers see 40 to 80% increases well before 9:30am. take gains on the ones you have faith in but don't close your position entirely. if you're going to put your money on the line for increased risk, do it with your winnings and not your initial deposits
