MBSB Bank distributed a dividend of 0.085 MYR per share in April 2023,marking its first dividend payment since 2021. MBSB used to be a non-bank lending institution. After merging with Asian Finance Bank Limited (AFB), it transformed into a bank entity in 2018. Kenanga Research saidinvestors have rallied strongly on the back of strengthened prospects fuelled by MBSB's inorganic growthand synergistic benefits to be reaped from the nearing completion of its merger with MIDF group.
