๐ธ๐ช๐ป 2024 half-year recap! Thankful for 1st Half of 2024!
As we end the first half of trading in 2024! Here's some recap and lessons learnt.
YTD performance Moomoo portfolio - Up 27.60% thankful for the performance and will continue to work hard for 2H 2024! Lets go!
Recap Jun - P/L took a hit on 28/6 as major Tech pulls back and my $Nike (NKE.US)$ down almost 20% ๐ but overall Jun is still the best month for me!
lessons learnt in 1H 2024 -
1) Diversification is still key for portfolio long term success and profitability! Being longer term focus like Buffet and Charlie has lots of wisdom as markets in the short term are unpredictable! It pays to have patience and no FOMO with the majority.
2) Risked managed your positions and do not oversize. You can over weight on some long positions but do not oversize too much that one wrong move will set you back too much.
Strategies for 2H 2024 -
July has been on of the most bullish months historically. will it repeat this year? I would not want to bed against it but will be care for some pullback base on Fridays daily candle closing with bearish candle and double top. see my Jun 2024 Play Book!๐ ๐๐
$S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ up 14.48% so far YTD and lst year we finished around 26.29%. i am Bullish the year will end up double digits but not without more volatility ahead with US election in full swing next half of the year!
So will he eyeing to enter more if pullback or correction happens along the next 6 months and stay on more bullish trade and ride the trend! Will be using options strategies to achieve more leverage for better returns of the portfolio!

protraderx : Congrat on the ROI over estimated principal 435k SGD. US stocks are much better than laggard SG stocks.
Anytime, take risks is better than risk adverse. We only live once. If 4.1% interest in SA account risk-free, only get 18k in one year, which you could easily make that amount in a week, or if not in a day.
