"The trend is your friend and one should not trade against the trend" ~ Really? That's is what the textbooks and furus tell you...in theory. It all boiled down to the trade tactics and time frame. There's no fixed rules. Though safer to trade with the trend, but not so simple, as market makers will still wash you off.

First time trade MSTR. Super dangerous because if you get the direction wrong, every tick is $3 USD move. Wanted to swing but Bitcoin might make big correction as we get near to halving.

Bitcoin mining stocks are even more super dangerous and far harder to day trade than MSTR or COIN.

All are not necessary moving in tandem with Bitcoin.
