yeoman7881 : I got a query. if remaining is 40Million shares and they allocated 100m. so.far how much is used to buy 20m and how much left. does it means not more than 2 dollars per share for buyback
_MK_Watcher_ OP yeoman7881 : If recalled well, it is based on the average market price of SGD1.9x per share when bought back those 20mil shares. As how much will be allocated/deployed for the remaining, this will highly depend on the available fund and the actual market price when the time comes.
(Anyway, you can refer to the posted company announcements at moomoo whenever there is a buyback exercise done or refer to SGX website to get more complete details)
明知山有虎 : Share buyback is good for the share price
_MK_Watcher_ OP : This translates the floating shares in the market will be diluted/reduced and in turn jacking up its price to the next fair value when the demands is higher than supplies.
102796003 _MK_Watcher_ OP : Based on moo moo, its fair value is 2.66 and target 2.69 - similar to what other sites are saying (2.30 - 3 bucks range). But this shares seem to not move according to news
_MK_Watcher_ OP : Suspecting needs to know the 'time domain' when they mention these prices. (is it 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year?) Always believe in your own analysis and study (example: those charts give pretty good indication though not 100% precise) and take those published advices as a pinch of sodium, especially when dealing with those counters that rarely traded fundamentally but emotionally.
