$Verizon (VZ.US)$ They are wed to $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$ as their tech provider for both structured / unstructured data / AI and happy with them.

Highlights
-15 AI use cases currently in production

-Internal employee search: knowledge management for retail store reps, customer support reps, telesales, etc.

-Customer service: actively listening to calls and making suggestions to call center reps. Rep approval of tool has gone from 50% a year ago to 90% today. Thousands of agents using this today. Call handling time down 5-10% on average but see higher reduction from reps that use tools regularly.

-Marketing: 300 marketers use a tool (50-100 active weekly) helps generate copy for marketing ads / emails / etc. Seen good A/B test results from customer responses to AI vs human generated content.

-All GenAI cloud solutions hosted on $GOOGL bc of 1) large strategic relationship in place, and 2) already use $GOOGL for data cloud as BigQuery is primary data store for both structured and unstructured data.

-Big Query is analytical storage and analytical engine while Cassandra is operational data store engine.

-Use Milvus for vector today. But $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$ is going to provide vector across all data stores so don’t think Milvus will be around for much longer.

- $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$ models were not the best but are getting much better.
