Oil falls more than 3% on softening demand: Is that an opportunity or not?

A few years ago it was $35

A few years ago, when I seriously started investing in US stocks, XOM was around 35 dollars even though it was said to have a high dividend.
However, the stock price is now three times that, and we are benefiting from growth.
It is linked to crude oil prices, but without oil, it is inevitable that all living resources, starting with plastics, and fuels such as gasoline will be affected.
I'm talking about decarbonization, but isn't it hard to think that manufacturers involved in this kind of crude oil will die without doing anything forever?
