5 points we can read from Nasrallah's speech after the Hezbollah attack on Israel

After Hezbollah attacked Israeli intelligence bases, its leader said time would resolve whether “deterrence” had been restored.

The Hezbollah attack on Sunday was carried out in response to Israel's assassination of senior military commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut last month.
Israel stated that it had launched a preemptive strike at Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon before the attack began, and denied that there was no major damage to Israel.
The five key points from Nasrallah's speech are listed below.
Hezbollah wants to avoid military escalation
Since 10/8, when Hezbollah and Israel began exchanging attacks the day after the start of the Gaza war, the fighting has escalated into a regional war, and concerns have spread that Iran and the United States will get involved.
This concern was particularly heightened last month after Mr. Shukr and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniya were killed in Tehran in an attack which appears to have been carried out by Israel.
However, Sunday's attack on Israel appears to have been Hezbollah's deliberate attempt to avoid a major Israeli counterattack. Nasrallah suggested that the attack was successful and said he was happy that Israel's military facilities and intelligence services were targeted.
Al Jazeera reporter Zeina Hodor, reporting from Beirut, said Nasrallah accused “the Israeli government of covering up losses and casualties.”
“The clear message from Hezbollah isAccording to NasrallahIf retaliation has achieved its purpose, then this is the endThat means. What he wants to say is if Hezbollah regains deterrence,” the reporter said.
“In other words, Israel will no longer act with little restraint in Lebanon. So we'll see in the next few hours and days whether this Hezbollah attack can stop Israel and prevent it from crossing the red line.”
Intelligence bases are the main targets
Mr. NasrallahWhat are the main targets of Hezbollah's attacksGrillo base in northern Tel AvivI made it clear. Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and military intelligence unit 8200 are based at this base.
Nasrallah blamed intelligence for the assassination of the Hezbollah commander.
The leader of the Lebanese group emphasized that the attack hit deep inside Israeli territory, as opposed to previous attacks which had mostly hit northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights.
The group carried out the attack “as planned,” he said, and denied the Israeli authorities' statement that the attack had failed. He added that Israel is keeping information about damage to Grillo “secret.”
Prior to this, Israeli officials told AFP that the attack on Grillo had failed.
Attack postponed due to cease-fire talks in Gaza
Mr. Nasrallah acknowledged that there were several reasons why the attack was postponed until Sunday, such as the merits of instilling fear to the Israelis in order to prepare for the dispatch of Israel and the United States, and discussions between the “axis of resistance” (name given to the coalition of Iranian-led nations and armed groups against the United States) over whether members attack Israel separately or simultaneously.
Nasrallah also said that one of the main reasons for the postponement wasThe Gaza cease-fire talksSet aside time to succeedIn order toI emphasized that it was.
“Our goal... is to end the attack on Gaza, so we gave them plenty of opportunities, but now that much time has passed, (Benjamin of Israel)Prime Minister Netanyahu has put forward new terms and it is clear that the US is cooperating with him, and this is all a waste of time, so there was no reason to postpone it any longer“Nasrallah said.
War of words and narratives
Nasrallah used the opportunity of his speech to refute some of the Israeli side's claims.
Most importantly, the Israeli side implied that they knew about the attack and prevented damage caused by Hezbollah's attack through a preemptive strike.
The fact that Israel knew about Hezbollah's attack in advance also reinforces the impression that the Lebanese group is leaking serious information, especially after many Hezbollah commanders have been murdered.
However, Nasrallah stated that Israel did not discover the attack, only noticed movements near the border and launched an attack, and did not attack Hezbollah's rocket or drone launch site before the attack began. Nasrallah said that the area Israel attacked was a launch site that was attacked after the end of the attack, either the rocket launch site or storage area had already been emptied.
Also, he is from Israel from LebanonIt is said that they stopped attacks with thousands of rocketsDisagree with the claimSay, HezbollahIntentionally fires approximately 300 shots, then launches a droneI said I did.
Targeting civilians and evading
Mr. NasrallahTargets are Israeli military and intelligenceIt is, and the groupTel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, etc.Avoided all private areas, including public infrastructureIt was emphasized.
“To ensure the protection of Lebanese civilians and avoid harm from our enemies, we chose to avoid [Israeli] civilians,” he said.
Since the murder of Mr. Shukur, Mr. Nasrallah, andFear of the possibility of an all-out war with Israel is spreading across LebanonI acknowledged that.
“At this stage, the country [Lebanon] can take a breather and relax,” Nasrallah said.
