A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Los Angeles on Monday.

The epicenter is northeast of Los Angeles, 22 km from Barstow. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7.9 kilometers, followed by 2 aftershocks of magnitude 3.5 and 2.7.

There were no reports of casualties or major damage.
