a battle loss ≠ war loss
last post for the season!
featuring my xiaopeng holdings here. :)
first went into xpev as felt that there was potential in EV and green energy but felt tsla was overbought and overhyped and overvalued (disclaimer I did buy it on the dip and sold it thereafter, but for longs, i prefer more undervalued stocks.) hence, went into china boy xiaopeng back in 2022,COVID.
I remember I was still suffering from COVID when I bought it lols. it was really good then, went up to 30+. (never sold at that stage lol). it's been on a steep decline since then, though the price has stabilised this year.
from my 20usd+ ish entry price, I've bought this further at its drops again. (though not at its bottom o.o) But recently, I noticed it was hovering near its 52weeks low and scooped up some shares! at 6.68.
it has since gone back to 8ish.
current pl still a paper loss ![]()
but I feel xpev has potential to develop further especially since it's not at an overbought price yet. but what I guess I should do to support my belief in xpev is to also analyse the stock's earnings report and check its fair price for some statistics rather than just an analysis by logic without stats support.
now who can teach me how to count fair value?!

toomanyscammers OP CFL123 : haha, I've been averaging down at its dips, tho it does drop lower after that haha. but still helped in bringing my price down. so from my initial buy price here , averaged down to 8 ish now. what helped was also last July, xpeng announced a partnership with volks, and price shot up to 22ish. sold off 4 stocks then and it also helped to bring my avg lower. it was at 50+ COVID time tho, so that's my far off benchmark haha. when did U buy into xpeng?
toomanyscammers OP : but yea this experience has taught me that if I'm patient, (and if stock is ok fundamentally) , it'll eventually rise back up and can still have good returns with it despite the red years in btw. just needa not mind waiting! I treat it as my fixed deposit lols. also needa wait to get funds back ma
