Cars are a luxury in Singapore and rightly so. We are easily one if the most expensive places in the world for car ownership and cars are not a necessity with our highly efficient public transport network, taxi and private hire options. It is definitely a depreciating asset especially with our COE 10 year system. However I feel that cars highly elevate the dating experience and recommend those who can afford it to get it or rent one for dating!
