A Struggling But Positive Six Months – A Huge Thanks to the Moomoo Community

I haven't made much profit in the past six months, but god bless, it's been positive overall. My portfolio has been struggling since the beginning of the year. Although there were some recoveries in between, it didn't turn positive until May.

A big shoutout to AAPL and NVDA for their performance in May. I actually bought their stocks and some options before their earnings reports and added to my positions as they climbed. For Nvidia, it was mainly because I sensed really positive market sentiment. As for Apple, I remember it had reached its low point since last October. Luckily, I got the direction right on both trades!

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, I feel that rate cuts are a theme that should be capitalized on. So, could energy stocks be a good direction to consider? Additionally, AI-related stocks like NVDA, ARM, and others, although they've recently pulled back, seem to have a lot more potential for growth. I believe the development in the AI sector is far from over.

Lastly, a massive thank you to the moomoo community. You've been incredibly helpful with my trading journey. My trading badge has upgraded from level 12 to level 24, and I feel like I'm really getting the hang of trading now. I'll keep working hard and continue to improve.
