According to the WHO, Israel has agreed to a three-day ceasefire for the polio campaign in Gaza.

According to the United Nations Health Agency, Israel has agreed to at least three days of "humanitarian pause" to allow the United Nations Health Authority to carry out polio vaccination in Gaza. This means that the humanitarian pause may continue beyond the three-day period.

According to Rik Peeperkorn, WHO's representative for the region of Palestine, it was announced that a campaign will be launched in the central Gaza Strip for three days starting from September 1st, and a humanitarian ceasefire will be implemented during the vaccination period.
