MomentumPython1337 generous Rhino_3594 OP : macro is doing badly and consulting/professional services depend a lot on macro conditions.
just read the US jobs report the sector with biggest decline in employment is professional services.
i have colleagues in accenture all feeling the deep drop in sales and new projects, layoffs and delays in promotion.
even SaaS companies generally had bad earnings this quarter. unlikely ACN can beat expectations even if those expectations are already depressed.
if ACN somehow pulls off not so dismal earnings then maybe there could be a slight run up but not optimistic about it
MomentumPython1337 : if macro recovers after rate cuts (instead of going into recession) maybe it can be a good environment for consulting companies but not anytime soon... wait for macro to improve before considering this stock
in the meantime better look for other companies to put your money
