Acquisition cost
I’m reading conflicting information about the cost. I’m seeing 7M HKD and 700M HKD. Considering the float of ~750M shares at HKD 1.41, the company’s current value prop is 1.1B HKD.
A 1B HKD company aquiring 7M HKDworth of another company doesn’t come across as “significant acquisition” to constitute insider information. 700M HKD makes more material sense.

Sanju : There is no conflict. Have you read the document that the company released on HKEX? I have attached the picture of the document. It indeed says the 52% stake was bought for HK $7.6M.
73431864 : It is 7.7 million hkd. Remember that all these documents were created in Chinese and you are reading a translation. So not all words mean what you might think they should mean. "Substantial" doesn't mean what you might assume it means. It is substantial because they are buying controlling interest, not because it is a large dollar figure
