$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD.US)$ in all the years of doing this I can only recall a few instances where I've seen a really good company fall off a cliff with no bad news. so now the world's going to buy small caps really? you're going to buy the Russell. 70% of those companies have losses. 20% of the companies are regional Banks that are carrying virtually all of the commercial loans on real estate. these properties have not been marked to Market in 4 years and the value of these properties are down 70 to 80% in many instances because as we saw from covid people stop going to the office so many of these properties are 40 or 50% vacant which means the value is down dramatically because they're all generating losses not profits. I sure and shit hope that AMD knocks the fucking cover off the ball exceeds revenue earnings and forward guidance.

  • 71505961 : isn't geopolitical issues with a potential new gov in the US? Can Taiwan stay safe? They build all the semis for all the tech companies, especially NVDA

  • 10baggerbamm OP 71505961 : I posted back in February that are concerned I had over Taiwan semiconductor was exactly that that China is going to take over Taiwan that's their game plan and that represents quite a bit of level of risk and that's why I wouldn't buy Taiwan semi however the issue is much greater because now we have this world in flux until we figure out who is going to either destroy the United States or make America great again. there's no other company that can do with Taiwan Sammy does not at their level of efficiency certainly not Intel's facility that's being constructed by 51% women in California that won't be up and running till maybe second half of 2028 so there's a lot of money answered questions in the meantime and all this ads instability

  • 71505961 10baggerbamm OP : TSM Has Labs in Japan and are building some in the US. They are planning to build more in the US and Japan. The only issue is can the US gov support them financially to build it quicker? Unions has filed complaints and lawsuits against them in the US because they hire overseas worker to work in the US for a lower wage. It should be in the US gov to fund them so they can hire Americans and stimulate the American economy. Long-long term I am not worried but elections make things too volatile, more than it should be. I am not worried about Taiwan at all though, Japan, Korea, Phillipines have bases right next to them, willing to help them defend. Also, the US has their boats hovering around Taiwan everyday. How can you attack Taiwan without accidentally attacking the US?
