pootpoot OP 包小姐的衰仔包 : rotate other sectors. that was what i did a couple of days ago and reaping profits already. semicons is going to be either consolidating or short term bearish. for amd, come back and take a look again when it can even close above 20ma. in the meantime just puts but remember to close it off today because tomorrow market close. market open might have some surge . friday resume those puts again
包小姐的衰仔包 pootpoot OP : most of my capital is in AMD ald.. half option half stock which is a dumb mistake, being too confident to myself and AMD. if bull trap is the case I just hope they pump high enough and I will sell my options from there ald, and keeping stock for the long run. Although I still have ard 2 weeks for my options but it looks dangerous as I don't have any money to hedge

pootpoot OP 包小姐的衰仔包 : hmm. usually i do 3months option at least from ER to ER (usually after it dropped, i didnt expect amd to be sleepy for 1 whole month) . decay is lesser and more time for the stock to rebound before earnings. higher probablity. if it closes at least 140 yesterday i would think its pullback before breaking 143. but this kind of closing... easily a retest down to 135 i feel.

pootpoot OP 包小姐的衰仔包 : usually 1 month or lesser option have v high delta. when semicons consolidate, they can take 1 month or more. so thats something to be careful in future. u can sell puts and sell covers to compensate those decays .
