$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ I really figured that AMD was going to be down several dollars off of that announcement from Dell. maybe this is a sign of a bottom because it is not? the only weakness in Dells quarter was the personal computer line and that's because the aipcs that refresh cycle is pushed forwards 1/4. as a result the demand for their existing computer models was a little weak because everybody's going to wait for the AI desktop personal computer Notebook tablet you get the idea and that's not going to happen till first quarter. AMD obviously has a big percentage of their business and personal computers and I figured that it would fall in lockstep but maybe this is a sign that it's reaching a bottom because it is not getting taken out behind the barn and shot.

pootpoot : i figured amd's game play. its just putting whenever it hits the nearest resistance. its more than a month from earnings and a series of bull traps from start to end. ( even cathie was baited with the amazing looking technicals from amd yesterday). i was hedging amd for 1 entire week and it was almost bingo all the way. because in my mind, its just bull trap all the way.
