  • Capital Gains : call it what you want but their balance sheeets good, has a good ceo, and yeah they need to fix something but this compaany will be around for a long time. Yeah, im pissed at the stock prices but you tell me a good reason this stock is sitting in the the twenties and ill change my mind. I dont own this stock at the moment but did throught the summer and there was people just like you screaming bs and than the stock ran up to around 200 and nobody said a thing. Some stocks trade on the stock market better than others but ill be waiting on a saapsys instead of just spitting out stupid shit

  • Warren E Buffett : My man, you seem like the type who might literally be impulsively pumping your life savings into this AMD bankruptcy 2025 thesis of yours.

Don’t want to see anyone lose their shirt, so offering up some friendly advice. You may of course do with it what you wish.

Right now, regardless of what notions you may perceive about AMD as a company, etc., please take some time to familiarize yourself with the technical analysis here. RSI is oversold in the absolute extreme, MCAD, JDK also showing signs of flipping and signaling strong upward, Price action in the near term at the very least.

You have your theories on AMD going bankrupt, Fine not gonna argue with you on that, but clearly since you’re playing downside, you’re either shorting, or buying heavy into puts, which means you must pay careful consideration to the timing of your thesis turning out to be correct.

If you’re playing the downside, it’s not just about being right, it’s about being right at the right time, and frankly right now, pushing all your chips onto the table for a near term, downside move, may as well be the equivalent of going to Vegas I’m putting it on double zero at the roulette table

  • AMDBankruptcy2025 OP Warren E Buffett : I hate amd. I tried holding on to it all year and missed so many opportunities only to lose money on the year. I am determined to make every penny of it back on the further downside that this joke of a company embarks on

  • PotOGoldz : U have no concept of the Christmas rally. every sentiment is bullish now. I would bet my life savings on it.

  • Warren E Buffett AMDBankruptcy2025 OP : I hear you, and honestly anyone here who’s been doing this long enough feels your pain, and has most likely at least once gotten caught up in a situation where they’re chasing a a position to just get continually screwed.

The first key is to not let emotions take over and chase those positions in the first place, don’t allow yourself to become married to one side of a trade or another, your moves must be as fluid and adaptable as the whimsical market itself

Just because you chased  AMD on the wrong side, all year only to watch it deteriorate week after week, is not sound rationale to continue chasing it downward

You missed that bearish run, got fixated and frustrated and lost money, let it go, and look at the chart rationally because it’s highly unlikely in the extreme to go bankrupt, semiconductors are in enormously high demand, industry is super strong.

This thing spent about a year burning from its all-time high, would start looking into positioning yourself for this to bottom out rather than chasing lower lows that even if they happen, won’t have much runway

  • 72093406 : You are Dick looser

  • xiaoswee : WB is right bro, if u hate amd then by all means pls go n long nvda. Shorting needs timing in entries n exits, generally low win rate compared to longing as overbought stock can stay overbought for very long time. Hell u have a better chance chasing the high than chasing the new low
