Our economy has been doing well but our pockets aren't necessarily feeling the love yet. With the looming US election and our own elections coming up, it's shaping up to be a possibly volatile future.

Families will be looking to security, to save money to swell their coffers while also providing their loved ones with enjoyable vacations. A lot of us will be looking to affordable vacation plans and many of the options can be local or in Malaysia and Indonesia where Singaporeans can enjoy resort treatment at a fraction of the cost due to currency exchange.

Recently I noticed a lot of my friends had visited Genting with their families eventhough they had exams around the corner. Short stops in Genting allow people to relax in a foreign climate while also not necessarily breaking the bank. I think paying attention to leisure industry is of important note this time next year.
